First things first: this photo is crazy under-exposed.  We ran Lights On (from the Original Totally Rad Action Set) at 100%, then again at 79%.  We masked the Lights On effect off of the background to create a more evenly-lit scene.

Since exposure was handled, we opted to pop a little Yin/Yang onto the subjects’ faces and then to hit the photo with Warm It Up, Kris! at 72%.  A little Oh, Snap! set to 68% with the Defog layer turned off completes the look.

Because jpegs are prone to image degradation when subjected to drastic exposure changes, we opted to pop the same photo — with all the previous steps run on it — into monochromatic mode by running Bitchin’ B&W, then Antique Tone x2.

All effects were completed using only the Original Totally Rad Action Set, which is compatible with Photoshop CS2, CS3, CS4, and CS5.  (It’s on sale for $109 on November 26th.  Buy it now.)
